Jacob Lejkin was a lawyer, second-in-command of the Jewish Police, and as such, Szerynski's assistant. A man turned corrupt because of excessive power. He took an active part in the mass deportations, and Ringelblum -like all those who had seen him at the time of the Aktion- accused him of taking active involvment in sending Jews to their deaths. Jacob Lejkin was executed on October 29th, 1942, Eliaha Ruzanski, Mordechai Grabas and Margalit Landau.
